The Luis Palau Association is looking for an City Gospel Movements Team Lead to join our Christian nonprofit team! This person will be responsible for recruiting, establishing, developing, and supporting new and existing Evangelism Teams. They will manage the current City Gospel Movements team, support Evangelism Team* strategies and content, and support the local CGM expression in Portland (TogetherPDX).

*Evangelism Team (E-Team): a group of strategic local leaders (including pastors, nonprofit leaders, evangelists, and other people of influence) in a city that are passionate about evangelism and act as a catalyst to keep evangelism a central part of their city’s movement through many different means.

Key Responsibilities

Vision cast and implement Evangelism Team strategies and content.

• Carry high-level relationships with national organizations

• Lead team that catalyzes E-teams in dozens of cities in North America and the UK

• Assist team in encouraging and equipping existing E-teams to advance

• Foster development of new tools to inspire and equip city movements toward evangelism

• Build national coaching network for E-Teams

Support stewardship of CGM expression in Portland Metro (TogetherPDX).

• Provide support to the TogetherPDX movement

• Advocate for TogetherPDX within LPA/Lead Team

Team Development and Integration

• Coach and develop program managers

• Participate in vision casting and goal setting for with the City Impact Team

• Work toward greater cooperation and collaboration with Festival and GNE teams

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Visionary yet actionable – ability to turn a vision into a plan

• Leadership and supervisory experience

• Ability to develop high-trust relationships, both internally and externally

• Heart for unity within the Body of Christ

• Heart for evangelism and Gospel proclamation

• Christian in agreement with LPA’s Statement of Faith

• Active member of a local church

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
