Position: School Bus CDL Driver
Type: Full Time
Location: Murray, Utah
Reports to: Child Care Director

Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30AM – 4:00PM

JOB SUMMARY:

Shuttle Drivers transport Members to and from school and other sites within designated route(s) and ensure the safety of Members while in a Club van. Drivers are responsible for the safe operation of a Club van and for ensuring the safety of passengers while meeting established route schedules.

KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities):

• Drives 16 passenger vans and large school bus in accordance with time schedules; picking up and dropping off Members at designated destinations.
• Maintains order and proper discipline of youth while in the vehicle.
• Conduct safety and operational inspection of assigned vehicle.
• Services vehicles with gas and fills tires as needed.
• Check levels of fluids and other needs of vehicles

• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle to ensure safe operating condition
• Clean and wash company vehicles
• Perform bus runs (morning, midday & afternoon)
• When not driving, assists teachers as needed
• Constant monitoring and supervising of children
• Support and assist on field trips
• Maintain safety of children
• Pick up weekly food bank contribution
• Facilitate staff breaks as needed
• Support playground time

Additional Requirements:

• 21 years of age or older required to meet driving requirements
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass drug screening
• Must be able to sit upright for extended periods of time (three hours or more consecutively)
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds sporadically during a regular work shift
• Must be able to be physically active (bend, kneel, reach, stretch, etc.) throughout a regular work shift
