Rubicon is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to oversee our Operations team. The COO will provide leadership, management, and vision to ensure the company delivers exceptional outcomes to meet the company’s objectives. Responsible for guiding our company’s workflow strategy and organization of all essential business processes. Reviewing the efficiency of current business functions, planning changes and updates to day-to-day operations and collaborating with other Executive Staff to set and meet business objectives. Experience with both new construction and remodeling practices will make you an excellent fit for our team.

COO Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with CEO in setting and driving long-term strategy and growth, organizational vision and hiring needs
  • Drive quality and profitability to meet company’s objectives
  • Assess organizational structure and recommend changes for efficiency
  • Partner with CFO to achieve favorable results with respect to asset management, sales, profitability, cash flow, systems reporting and controls
  • Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes
  • Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures
  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
  • Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
  • Oversee daily operations of the company, collaborating with: IT, Marketing, Sales and Finance, etc.
  • Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
  • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
  • Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance
  • Assist CEO in identifying strategic priority(s)
  • Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)
  • Manage relationships with partners/vendors

COO Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • 15 years of Executive level operational experience
  • 10 years’ experience in Residential construction services and Commercial construction
  • Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, Marketing, Sales, etc.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and metrics
  • Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office
  • Leadership skills with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
  • Extensive proactive planning and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
  • Entrepreneurially minded
  • Accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our organization
  • Have a current valid driver’s license
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
