1888 Industrial Services has a wide range of markets including; oil & gas, servicing piping, distilleries, chemical plants, power plants, refineries & retrofits, offering concrete services, full paint and coating shop services, and fabrication for general commercial and professional industrial services industry.

1888 is owned by funds managed by several investment management firms, which funds also are lenders to the Company.

1888 is looking for a Chief Financial Officer to join our team in the Greeley, Colorado office. We are located downtown with access to great shops, restaurants, the Ice Haus, and parking is on us. *** LOCAL candidates only, at this time***

Summary
Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for directing and overseeing all the Company’s financial activities.

The Role’s Primary responsibilities include the following:

• Serve as a key strategic partner to the CEO to meet revenue, margin, and profitability goals.
• Together with the CEO, provide appropriate reporting to the owners (who are also the lenders).
• Manage all aspects of accounting including monitoring internal controls and reporting.
• Ensure that accurate and timely financial and operational reports are provided to corporate management, operational users, and investors using identification of key drivers and their impact on the business model.
• Proactively identify areas of risk or needs focus.
• Oversee the monthly/quarterly/yearly financial close process and ensure the timely preparation of financial statements.
• Use project management skills to build and guide teams in meaningful continuous improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate the preparation and monitor progress of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, including maintenance of a financial statement model.
• Use/develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to senior management and make actionable recommendations.
• Confer regularly with department heads, maintaining a customer service orientation to meet their needs, keep them informed and offer direction and suggest methods for improving financial and accounting processes.
• Manage all banking and factoring relationships.
• Oversee all tax and insurance matters.
• Retain, recruit, train and develop qualified personnel.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience partnering and working with private equity sponsorship is preferred.
• Integrity, credibility, and character with demonstrated moral and ethical behavior.
• A hands-on, detail-oriented professional with excellent analytical, planning, evaluation, and implementation skills.
• Executive presence combined with a high degree of maturity and business judgment.
• A team player with the self-confidence, presence, and consultative skills to positively influence the business.
• An entrepreneurial, innovative, flexible problem solver.
• An accomplished, results-oriented manager and leader with exceptional communications and interpersonal skills and work ethic.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting is required.
• Seven (7) to ten (10) years’ experience as a CFO.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $210,000.00 - $230,000.00 per year
