Job description
Reporting directly to the Chaplain Services Department Manager, this position is responsible for providing spiritual guidance, pastoral counsel, and pastoral leadership for the patients, families, and staff of St. Francis Hospital and its affiliates as specified.

Minimum Education
X Master's Degree X Required

X Graduate of a program in Theology or Divinity or comparable theological degree X Required

X Minimum of two (2) units of clinical pastoral education (ACPE) X Preferred

X Endorsed by or eligible to be endorsed for ministry by the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC)
Minimum Work Experience
Minimum of one (1) year of pastoral experience in a parish- based or healthcare setting OR equivalent clinical training relevant to offering religious/spiritual ministry in a health care setting.
Requires critical thinking skills.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
