Job Summary:


We seek a recognized leader with proven leadership and management skills a strategic vision for the future of academic radiology and medicine, outstanding academic credentials, and a strong clinical background. The chair will provide strategic and administrative leadership of the highest quality to this distinguished department in its clinical, research, and teaching missions.

Responsibilities:


The chair will participate in leadership and service activities to the School of Medicine and Public Health, UW Health (the university's academic health system), the University, the community, and the profession.

The successful candidate will have a compelling vision for the future of Radiology in a leading research-intensive public academic institution.

Education:


Required
Terminal Degree
MD, MD/PhD, DO or equivalent degree(s)


Qualifications:


Substantial background and experience in administrative leadership, clinical care, teaching and research, including training programs for the full continuum of radiology learners, and a strong academic background that would qualify for appointment as a tenured faculty member at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.


License/Certification:


Required
MD - Physician - State Licensure
Board certified in diagnostic radiology, eligible for Wisconsin medical license.

Full Time: 100%

It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.
