The Case Management Supervisor supports the Case Management Assistant Program Director and Case Manager Deputy in providing oversight of EIS Case Management Services. The CMS ensure contractual requirements and client expectations are met at the on-site facility.
Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate and/or supervise programming, reunification and discharge of children's placement and release as assigned
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation in accordance with agency policies and procedures and contract and regulatory requirements and standards
  • Frequently move from one area of the facility to another including interior and exterior areas
  • Monitor the program through frequent observation and evaluation of program services.
  • Develop proactive plans of action for every area of service assigned by the Assistant Program Director or Program Director
  • Provide timely feedback and support to personnel
  • Develop and maintain personnel work schedules to ensure proper coverage and ratios.
  • Adapt schedules to needs of the program based on changing workloads and needs.
  • Review all staff documentation to ensure it is accurate, complete and timely.
  • Consult, provide feedback, review performance, motivate, direct and redirect subordinates.
  • Supervise, facilitate and participate in child assessments and admission processes as needed.
  • Respond to outside requests for persons authorized to receive information regarding children.
  • Provide and/or supervise crisis interventions involving children and/or families as needed.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings and in team decisions and operations.
  • Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed or requested by the position supervisor.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the service population and program operations.
  • Supervise Lead Case Managers
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Bachelors degree in the behavioral sciences, human services or social services fields (in lieu of degree a minimum of an additional two (2) years of experience in Case Management can be substituted)
  • Two (2) years of related Case Management experience and/or training
  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience
  • ORR experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English and Spanish
  • Ability to organize and manage time and resources to ensure timely completion of all assignment deadlines
  • Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be organized and have excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computer and common office equipment, as well as with MS Office products required.
  • Abilit to sit for more than 8 hours per day
  • Must be willing to work over time if necessary
  • Ability to perform duties in a safe manner
  • Ability to follow the corporate safety polic.
  • Ability to participate and support safety meetings, training and goals
  • Ensures safe operating conditions within area of responsibility
  • Encourages co-workers to work safely
  • Ability to identify close calls and/or safety concerns to supervisory personnel
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area
  • Ability to perform other duties as assigned within scope of work and responsibility
  • Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee may use repeated motions that include the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
  • Additional physical requirements include the following:
    • Must be able to sit for more than eight (8) hours per day
    • Must be able to use an elevator or walk up and down stairs
    • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and carry up to 10 feet
