What: *We are looking for caregivers to help care for clients (mainly fragile, ill, disabled, and/or elderly), one-on-one, in their homes.
When: Short shift, long shifts, morning shifts, afternoon shifts, part-time hours or full-time hours. We currently have them all!
Where: Clients are located throughout the eastern Eastern Cuyahoga, Lake, Geauga, Northern Portage and Northern Summit Counties but we are especially in need of caregivers for our clients in the Warrensville Hts- Solon- Moreland Hills- Chagrin Falls- Pepper Pike area.
Pay: $15 per hour

Our caregivers are ACTUAL EMPLOYEES of our company and not just contract workers. That means we pay all taxes and our caregivers are guaranteed the protections that go along with being an employee of a company versus being self-employed.

Qualifications

• 18 years or age or older
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Pass a criminal background check
• TB test
• Covid-19 vaccination (strongly encouraged but not required)
• Caregiving training &/or certifications, such as STNA, HHA, MA, PCA, etc. (preferred but not required)
• Willing to drive to client's homes up to 30 minutes away
• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting & the ability to work independently
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Good interpersonal skills
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (preferred but not required). We'll train if you're willing to learn!
• Ability and willingness to complete online continuing education training classes
• Willingness to follow and enforce health and safety standards
• Reliability: Professionalism and discipline to arrive to clients' homes, on time, every time

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, such as showering, bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing
• Remind clients to take prescribed medication and assist them with monitoring vitals
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Plan and prepare meals and/or assist with feeding
• Run errands for the client or accompany them to successfully do so
• Keep the clients engaged in favorite activities and conversation
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Light housekeeping
