Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality care and safety to elders
• Presenting elders with choices and decision-making opportunities
• Engaging in interesting and meaningful activities with elders
• Assisting the elders in getting up and going to bed when they want
• Planning and cooking their favorite foods and eating a meal with them
• Laundry and light housekeeping tasks

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Certification: State certification preferred or see below for our offer of on-the-job assistance in getting this certification!
• Experience: good documentation, communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents

In partnership with local accredited schools, we offer training for those seeking certification.
