Care Manager: I, II, III – Cypress House

Full-time/40hrs/Non-Exempt/$19.95 – $24.15 per hour (DOE)

Additional - Pay differentials offered - must qualify through testing or verification for the special competencies.

Care Managers are to provide individual and group rehabilitation services in Fort Bragg. Assist in providing behavioral interventions & support for adults as required by the client's treatment plan. Under the direction of a Licensed Clinician, you are responsible for developing and implementing one-to-one therapeutic interventions in the community. Participates as a member of the client's treatment team and collaborates with family and community members to best support and help clients with their specified goals, maintaining a full caseload of clients, and competence to document for Medi-Cal services. Must have valid CA driver’s license, no more than 3 points on driver record. Bilingual preferred, not required.

Education/Experience:

Classifications and Qualifications for Care Managers

• CM III: An individual who has at least four (4) years of full-time/equivalent (FTE) experience in a mental health-related field proving direct mental health services. Up to two (2) years of the four (4) years of experience can be substituted by years of education in a mental health-related field. There is a minimum requirement of two (2) years of actual work experience. *
• CM II: An individual who has at least two (2) years but less than four years of FTE experience in a mental health-related field providing direct mental health services.
• CM I: An individual who has less than two (2) years of FTE experience in the mental health-related field providing direct mental health services.

• The education requirement is for a CM II or CM III - must be a minimum of two (2) years of education (60 semester or 90 quarter units) with a minimum of 12 semesters (18 quarter) units in a mental health-related subject area such as child development, social work, human behavior, rehabilitation, psychology, or alcohol and drug counseling. Must be able to provide written verification of experience upon hire.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: This position may work within ALL other agency programs, consistent with their scope of practice, on a as needed basis. In addition, may require occasional flexible work schedule to meet the individualized needs of each client.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CA Driver's License, Current Auto Insurance, Clean DMV Printout, clear background check w/DOJ, CAC, FBI, CPR and First Aid Certified. TB Test and Physical at the time of employment.

Employment in the Behavioral Health Services require proof of Covid-19 vaccination or exemption per California Public Health Officer. All RCS employees are required to either have documented proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a Religious or Medical Exemption on file.
