Description The Camp Counselor position is responsible for ALL aspects of providing a fun, safe and CLEAN environment for dogs to play with other dogs at CAMP. Duties include, but are not limited to: ACTIVELY monitoring the play of dogs in the play yards, CLEANING all areas of Camp, FEEDING dogs by following varied feeding instructions provided by dog owners, ADMINISTERING MEDICATIONS based on very detailed instructions, ANSWERING PHONES and making appointments/taking messages and WORKING AS A TEAM. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS & HOLIDAYS. Applicants must love dogs, everything about them, not just playing with them. Dogs need a great deal of care and attention. We are a rapidly growing business. Flexible employees may become eligible for full time employment.
Requirements The ONLY experience required is candidates MUST LOVE DOGS. Related or direct experience with dogs is PREFERRED. Experience in the industry is STRONGLY preferred. Benefits Employees may bring their own dogs to camp free of charge with them as long as the dog meets all requirements as any other dog in Camp. Medical, Dental, Vacation benefits are available per our policies in accordance with Maine State Law.
