Established in 1896, Child & Family Guidance Center (CFGC) is a registered 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation. The agency is the oldest child guidance center in Texas and 2nd oldest in the nation. Serving over 10,000 individuals a year, this includes over 6,000 children. CFGC is dedicated to providing services to adults and children experiencing mental illness.

The Position
Client Service Representative

Job Responsibilities

 Checking and documenting vitals on all clients that check into the clinic.

 Ensuring required chart documents are updated yearly

 Answering phone

 Scheduling appointments

 Client verification and insurance pre-certification.

 Maintain client files in accordance with agency policy and state standards.

 Participate in department projects and training

 Other related and miscellaneous duties as assigned by manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

 Good verbal, written, and organizational skills

 Good reading and comprehensive skills

 Able to follow written and verbal instructions

 Excellent phone and customer service etiquette

 Working knowledge of computer and general office machines

 Ability to ensure quality services to internal and external clients

 Able to work in a High Volume Clinic

 Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player.

 Perform job responsibilities without violating any ethical, state and federal codes/requirements.

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred

 Bilingual is a plus

Requirements:

 High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Medical office experience or knowledge preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
