In this job you will help leverage ETL tools to reduce code and increase throughput for data transformation. You will additionally plan, design, test, and implement Business Intelligence solutions through use of BI tools, technologies, and systems. You will be required to analyze complex processes and develop technical process solutions to meet business needs. The incumbent works collaboratively with customers and technical staff in all phases of projects including requirements gathering and change management. Acts as subject matter expert on projects regarding technology, resource needs, scheduling and/or implementation. You will need to follow BI and ETL development best practices and be innovative in the use of appropriate technologies and systems.

Required Training:

• Moderate to expert level in Structured Query Language (SQL).
• Strong experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes and principles. Familiarity with multiple ETL applications is a bonus (Alteryx / Informatica / Talend / SSIS).
• Deep experience designing, implementing, and loading custom data models that reflect real-world problems.
• Strong experience utilizing Oracle and SQL Server data sources, APIs, data cleansing, and error handling.
• Strong experience delivering analytics to technical, non-technical, and leadership teams that influence and support business strategy.
• Strong experience developing visualizations that consume data models for non-technical users.
• Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong ability to interact with and communicate with all levels of employees and clients.
• Self-motivated; comfortable working at times with limited direction.
• Bachelor's degree required (Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or other applicable degree).
• At least 3-5 years of experience in interfacing with IT or related Data Analytic field.
• Proficient with relational database concepts and client-server concepts.

Preferred Training:

• Alteryx or Tableau certification (Tableau Desktop and Server).
• Knowledge of reading and understanding COBOL, PL/SQL, or other procedural language code.
• Dimensional modeling training and experience.
• Python or other scripting languages is a bonus.
• Experience with health insurance processes.
• Detailed, organized, able to think through and carry out the vision of an implementation.
• Ability to be flexible, good problem solving and conflict resolution skills, self-motivated.
