Selectemp is searching for a Business Development Manager / Outside Sales Representative who is passionate about sales. Specializing in manufacturing and warehousing, we have created a supportive atmosphere where you will engage in friendly competition and be provided the resources to make you successful.
This is a pound the pavement, “hunter” sales role. Support will be provided by the awesome branch and management team in Tigard.
Base salary of $60-$75k+ commission

Day in the Life of a Business Development Manager / Outside Sales Representative:
- Start your day in the Portland / Tigard Selectemp branch
- Generate new business and expansion revenue by prospecting via phone, email and in person business appointments
- Use a consultative sales approach to grow your business
- Participate in community activities while promoting Selectemp (i.e. Chamber of Commerce, Human Resource Association meetings, Rotary Club, Business After Hours, etc.)
- Collaborate with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting
- Build strong relationships with decision makers using strategic sales strategies
- Be an active learner on a consistent basis in order to be an expert in our industry and market
- Achieve weekly metrics for cold calling quotas
- Negotiate pricing and contracts

Requirements:
- Previous outside B2B sales experience
- Impeccable interpersonal communication skills
- Familiarity with marketing strategies
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales objectives

- Valid driver’s license + own vehicle
