Minimum Education/Experience:

High school graduate or GED required along with technical course work in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Mechanical. Valid NC driver's license required

Must be able to pass a background check, fingerprinting, and drug screen

Brief Description of Work Performed:

Responsible for completion of work orders for tasks related to the physical maintenance and repairs of the assigned buildings utilizing work order-related software programs. Responsible for implementing routine and more complex physical improvements to include, but not be limited to, all day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and improvement tasks, ranging from routine inspections to assigned work orders. Respond to emergency situations in accordance with departmental protocol. Maintaining all equipment, tools, and supplies in stock, inventory, and logs. Implement, with the Property Manager, a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan and maintain all related records and logs. Assist with controlling expenses associated with the operation of the buildings. Monitor contracted service schedules and equipment installations by outside contractors, including following up on completed work. Diagnose and resolve a variety of maintenance problems involving Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing and other Building Systems. Must be able to resolve maintenance problems in a timely manner in order to avoid and minimize disruptions and delays to customers. Perform routine lawn and landscaping maintenance.

Hours/Days of Work:

40-hour work week; Monday Friday; Non-exempt; Hourly; Hours/days to be determined by supervisor

Pay Rate: TBD

$500 Joining bonus paid on the first payroll.
