We have a great opportunity at our Crash Pad Café in Bellevue, WA for a weekday Breakfast Cook (6:00am – 2:30pm). This isn’t just a typical line cook position – as part of our corporate dining team to one of the largest social media companies in the area, you'll help us produce fresh meals made from scratch that represent a global cuisine, in a beautiful state of the art kitchen!

Shift:
Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm


Pay range:
$20.00 - $23.00, based on skill, experience, and/or education.

What Your Day Look Like:

  • Prep and cook potatoes, oatmeal, congee, tofu scramble, eggs, and proteins while adhering to recipes and cooking techniques delegated by the Jr Sous Chef
  • Taste to adjust for flavor and regularly temperature
  • Maintain food quantities and communicate deficiencies with management
  • Assist other stations as needed throughout service and to prep ahead.

What we're looking for:

  • 1+ year of relative experience in full service, moderate to high volume Restaurant, Club, or Catering establishment
  • Culinary school degree or equivalent a plus!
  • Strong knife skills
  • Must have a valid King County Food Handler Permit within 10 days of starting
  • Must have non-slips shoes in the kitchen
  • Must complete all required trainings Learn, Legal, and Privacy
  • Ability to understand and communicate basic English (speaking, writing, reading)
  • Ability to lift and move 10 - 40 lbs.
  • Ability to do heavy and repetitive hand and arm motion involved in production and clean up
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and balance to perform job tasks
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check, in accordance with Washington State's Fair Chance Employment Act, RCW chapter 49.94
