Summary

Lidl US is seeking an entry level analyst to join our Brand & Packaging (BAP) design team. The Analyst contributes to the efficient workflow of developing packaging artwork, from creative development, information gathering and artwork review, through delivery of final artwork and prepress. Brand & Packaging design is responsible for ownership, coordination, communication, and execution of new product designs from ideation through to shelf. This individual will manage the internal and external assets for projects to coordinate resources and manage the process flow for a project throughout its lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

• Communicate and coordinate with all levels of P&D team peers such as Engineering, Label Compliance, and Translation and other internal stakeholders as appropriate, and when suitable with external parties, to gather information necessary for development of creative briefs
• Organize job details, track milestones, and proactively raise questions and solutions as needed, within the packaging development process
• Participate in the development of product packaging design from creative briefs through production, with the support of the Brand & Packaging Manager and Sr. Analysts
• Liaise with creative and production agencies, and photographers to coordinate creative development
• Consolidate feedback from a variety of stakeholders into clear direction for external partners with the support and direction of the Brand & Packaging Manager
• Collect and organize data to assist team members with other projects as assigned such as draft process documents, and production notes
• Support BAP managers in maintenance of data / inputs into Design Project Overview (DPO) to ensure accurate and effective data is available to the team

What You’ll Need

• 1-2 years of experience or in lieu of degree 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in branding, printing, execution, or artwork
• 1- 2 years of experience in a CPG company
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of consumer/market trends in the retail/grocery field
• Understanding of the implementation of primary and secondary packaging
• Strong understanding of design principles, excellent visual design skills and technical knowledge
• Ability to meet aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment while communicating effectively upwards and across stakeholder.
