Brand Manager

Reports to: Director of Retail

Overview: The Brand Manager is responsible for creating a cohesive brand strategy for
East Coast Cannabis and a consistent brand experience for customers. The Brand
Manager will work closely with internal team members and external partners to design, implement and adhere to brand experiences which support the growth, recognition and sustainability of the East Coast Cannabis brand. The Brand Manager will work with ECC
Leadership to understand and create a brand vision that aligns with internal values and goals for expansion and growth.

Brand Manager Responsibilities:

1. The Brand Manager is responsible for developing brand strategies and defining measurements for brand success.

2. The Brand Manager is responsible for implementing strategic plans for brand growth and expansion and reporting metrics and KPI’s to demonstrate growth and sustainability of the brand.

3. The Brand Manager will use a variety of analytics, digital platforms and tools to drive customer volume and brand profitability.

4. The Brand Manager will continuously assess market trends and developments to inform leadership and brand strategy for fast brand adaptability.

5. The Brand Manager will navigate public relations, information output, press releases, media requests and advertising efforts, to include social media oversight.

6. The Brand Manager will work directly with the design team, photographers and videographers to ensure exceptional print and digital representations for all brand images and graphic work.

7. The Brand Manager will regularly perform business to business outreach, meeting with local businesses in Maine and New Hampshire to inform community organizations and businesses about East Coast Cannabis. When appropriate, the Brand Manager will negotiate partnerships and collaborate on community events within these business to business relationships.

8. The Brand Manager will plan and execute community events and programs, ensuring a smooth roll out and flow of all outreach activities and fostering strong participation and engagement.

9. The Brand Manager will continuously learn and seek to understand current cannabis science, applications and consumption methods as needed to inform brand strategy and understand market trends.

10.The Brand Manager will oversee Brand Representatives to ensure cohesive brand strategy across social media, digital platforms and face to face interactions with customers and partners.

Education: Bachelor Degree required, Bachelor Degree in a related field preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 3 years branding and marketing experience required.
Cannabis industry experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required. Working knowledge of SEO and social media analytics preferred.

Position Specific Skills:
The Brand Manager must be a self starter, and an individual who can take on new projects with minimal oversight.

Personal Characteristics: Outgoing personality, friendly and engaging, team forward perspectives.

Required: Must be 21 years or older and be able to pass a state required background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
