Purpose
The Boiler Technician is responsible for installing and performing maintenance on boiler systems

Essential Job Functions*

Ability to work independently
Arrive at homes looking like a pro, provide homeowner a great experience before, during and after the call
Start everyday on time, ready to work with heart, body and mind in the right place for a successful day
Run multiple diagnostics, part replacement, maintenance and go-back calls on your schedule
Experience in repairing electrical, combustion & mechanical issues
Experience in performing routine maintenance
Ability to read a wiring diagram
Communicate via phone/email with dispatchers, managers and customers on ETA’s, call results, part ordering and other important information
Communicate value of preventive maintenance to customers earning new and renewing maintenance club members

Work Hours*
This is a non-exempt position. Work hours to be determined based on the needs of the business. Overtime may be required to meet business needs.

Work Environment*

Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions
May be exposed to extreme and uncomfortable temperatures and/or conditions
Occasionally exposed to wet, snowy, hot, and humid conditions
Subject to dark confined workspaces such as crawl spaces and attics
Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration
May encounter moderately loud noise level while in the field

Physical Demands*

75% or more of day spent standing, walking, crawling, crouching, stooping, kneeling, lifting and operating tools.
Ability to lift 75-100 or more pounds multiple times a day.
Comfortable working in changing working environment conditions including but not limited to: Wet and humid weather, cold and heat. Working consistently with power tools, working on a ladder and/or roof, working with electrical power tools, Proper PPE worn at all times.
Supervisory Responsibility

None. All questionable matters are referred to Supervisor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
