BFT TEMP MEDICAL ASSISTANT and ADMINISTRATIVE CAPE COD - HARWICH and MASHPEE

Bulfinch Temporary Service is hiring a medical assistant for the Cape, there is a possibility for it to go permanent for the right candidate. The position is M-F from 7:45-430 and is not benefits eligible unless it transitions to regular status.

Otolaryngology Cape Cod is hiring a Medical Admin Assistant. Full Time. This role supports our Mashpee and Harwich Otolaryngology offices.

Under the supervision of the Site Manager or Associate Director, The Medical Admin I is critical to the team, and provides a combination of clinical and administrative support to physicians in a high-volume ambulatory clinic setting, functioning as the primary interface between patients and providers. Emphasis is placed on the ability to stay organized and to prioritize administrative and clinical tasks essential to patient care. Role requires management of confidential patient information, scheduling patient appointments at front desk, answering phones with the highest level of customer service, checking patients in and out of appointments, collecting copayments, and helping to manage incoming information via phone, email, in person and via Epic.

Medical Assistant duties will include bringing patients to exam rooms, vital signs if required documentation in epic, assist with procedures, set up of supplies and instruments. Clean and sterilize equipment and additional MA duties as requested.

High school diploma or combination of education and experience

Ideally one year of medical administrative support within a busy medical practice

Excellent Verbal communication skills for telephone interaction with patients and others

Strong organizational skills require to multitask, prioritize and be efficient with all processes and patient needs

Successful completion of a certified training program

Lift frequently moderate weights, push wheelchairs stretchers, assist and transport patients as needed
