Job description

Position Summary:

Direct crew of 5 - 8 people. Responsible for overseeing the production process of mixing dry concrete ingredients at a fast pace and assure quality product is being made while maximizing production. Make sure all safety rules are being followed. Have a sense for warehouse management and housekeeping. Train and coach employees with all the equipment currently in use on the production floor.

Essential Functions:

· Able to cut open, Lift and empty 50 to 75lb bags of dry ingredients.

· Weigh dry ingredient to obtain tonnage (pounds).

· Stack 50 to 75lb bags on a pallet in a square design.

· Able to perform repetitive movements.

· Operate forklift if necessary.

· Good math skill.

· Have a good understanding of equipment such as scales, hopers, roller conveyors and conveyors belts.

· Problem solve and troubleshoot production issues.

· Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor and Manager.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Other Attributes:

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Must be ok with getting dusty/dirty.

· High degree of attention required to performance job duties.

· Must be self-efficient.

· Maintain a clean & safe environment.

· Must be clean shaven. (Mustache and goatee is okay)

· Work at a fast pace

· Able to stand for 8, 10, and 12 hours.

· Have the ability to wear a half-face respirator per OSHA requirement.

· Reliable transportation.

Must be able to work 1st and 2nd shift!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
