The Dwarf House – Hapeville Chick-fil-A is looking for Back of House / Kitchen Supervisor for the evening shift. This is the location where Chick-fil-A began! You must have a passion for service and for the Chick-fil-A brand.

As a leader you are expected to work in the restaurant with team members and other leadership to develop best practices and to ensure that employees are adhering to Chick-fil-A standards and the customer service we are known for. We are a one-of-a-kind location that represents the history and evolution of the brand.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise the back of house / kitchen operations during the evening shift
• Assist the day-to-day operations of all areas of the kitchen including production, prep, and food quality
• Work with other managers and upper management on scheduling and determining staffing needs
• Create a culture of responsibility and excellent performance in your area
• Engage, develop, & coach your team to be the best version of themselves
• Facilitate healthy and productive discussions between team members to develop the best solutions for issues that arise.
• Ability to handle management & team member concerns, complaints, and issues by executing follow-up and issue resolution
• Improve and grow team members through relationship-building.
• Able to learn knowledge and skills of all positions in the back of house and use resources available to support team member training and adherence to Chick-fil-A procedures
• Provide information to the leadership team regarding employee morale, employee relations, job performance, training, coaching and discipline.
• Responsible for proper team member / job placement in the restaurant and filling necessary gaps in coverage
• Knowledge of how to operate equipment such as fryers, ovens, etc. and ability to troubleshoot common kitchen issues

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous Chick-fil-A Experience is Preferred
• Be available to work evening shifts, including Saturday and possibly some holidays. We are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas
• Must enjoy working with people and leading a team
• Must enjoy working in a commercial kitchen environment
• Computer proficiency including email basic computer skills
• Confident decision-making ability
• Prior leadership experience is preferred

In our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have.
