Provides leadership for functions within the Operations and Administrative Services Division. Accountable for day-to-day management oversight and
attainment of operational goals and objectives, including quality and efficiency measures, for areas of responsibility. Formulates, executes, and integrates local/functional policies and procedures to further organizational strategies.
Serves as a key representative of the Bank with external partners in the Emergency Management and Law Enforcement community and with government and regulatory agencies in the District’s respective geographic zones.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provides direction and leads one or more operational areas to include: Cash Services, Law Enforcement, Facilities (capital improvements and design, planning, environmental and construction services building plant operations, energy management), OAS IT operations, Food Services and Event Management functions, leasing operations, tenant relationship management and Business Continuity/crisis contingency planning efforts.
  • Collaborates with or may lead a Function Office in the formulation of strategies, policies, procedures, cost/efficiency targets, and budgets. Ensures strategies are translated into executable plans to achieve goals and meet business requirements. Establishes optimum work methods and procedures to achieve unit costs, productivity goals and other strategic business objectives.
  • Recommends overall quality, productivity, controls and service level goals based on System, District and local standards.
  • Remains abreast of industry trends and emerging issues. Identifies operational and technology solutions and manages related projects to safeguard the Atlanta Facility and personnel, and to ensure the District is prepared for and ready to respond to any events that may disrupt normal operations.
  • Performs personnel management functions such as hiring, staff development counseling, employee performance appraisals, compensation decisions, and other personnel actions.
Highly Specialized or Technical Skills/Certifications
  • Undergraduate degree and/or Masters Degree highly preferred. Must have the ability, initiative, knowledge and expertise to make independent decisions and exercise sound judgment.
  • Experience in managing multiple or large operations preferred, but not required.
