Zurich is currently looking for an AVP, GL Claims Strategic Consultant to work out of any of our Zurich offices in the US.

This is an exciting new opportunity that will report to the VP, GL Claims Director and will support global and regional strategic and operational priorities. The Consultant will take a proactive holistic approach to business practices and processes and ensure appropriate change management practices are effectively used throughout the lifecycle to improve execution and delivery of results. They will lead projects and create timelines, agendas, goals and metrics/measurements. This new position is critical in helping to understand where we are and creating a roadmap of where we are going in order to be the best General Liability organization in the industry.

Additional responsibilities will include:

• 
  Lead, influence, diagnose, and help develop recommendations to improve the outcomes for the General Liability LOB
• Act as a resource on cross-functional initiatives and serve as the GL Liaison to Claims Strategy and Innovation, Claims Quality Improvement, Claims University and Claims Judicial and Legislative Affairs
• Ensure specific metrics and measures are incorporated into solutions enabling continuous improvement
• Partner with Underwriting and Risk Engineering to understand the data available to improve our insights
• Interact in the marketplace to understand trends and emerging issues

Basic Qualifications:

• 
  Bachelors Degree and 8 or more years of experience in the Change Management, Insurance, Operations or Training area that includes some technical General Liability Claims experience
  OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in the Change Management, Insurance, Operations or Training area that includes some technical General Liability Claims experience
  AND
• Internal Consulting experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• 
  Effective at change management
• Ability to develop collaborative relationships
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization from entry level to senior leaders
• Strong project management and time management skills
• Extensive General Liability technical experience
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to improve process management and develop training plans
• Experience leading projects from idea to post implementation

The salary range for this role is $120,200-$150,300. This is the range Zurich NA in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of the posting. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. Base pay offered may vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also bonus eligible. No amount is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
