PTMW, Inc. is hiring for a Drafter/Detailer position and is seeking qualified individuals with manufacturing process (sheet metal) and fabrication methods is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3D modeling experience using Solid Edge, Solid Works, AutoCAD Inventor, etc.
• 2D drafting experience using AutoCAD
• Assist with BOM & part number creation & entering into software
• Computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work independently and to organize and prioritize tasks to meet required deadlines.
• Excellent working knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, along with knowledge of assembly and welding procedures

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Associate or technical degree in drafting or equivalent
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (sheet metal) and fabrication methods.
• Manufacturing experience in sheet metal

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in creating working drawings using Solid Edge/AutoCAD with high level of accuracy based upon design drawings or drawings supplied by other parties.
• Model new parts using existing products and incoporate design changes using Solid Edge
• Clearly annotate, dimension , and produce production drawings in conformance to PTMW design standards and practices.
• Setup and manage large sheet sets including revisions and markups for each project
• Able to follow instructions and ask questions
