Starting Salary: $51,163
Job Summary: The Audit Specialist will perform audits of all contracted sites (group homes, psychiatric inpatient, day programs) to ensure they are delivering services properly and are in compliance with all necessary guidelines.

Job Summary: The Audit Specialist will perform audits of all contracted sites (group homes, psychiatric inpatient, day programs) to ensure they are delivering services properly and are in compliance with all necessary guidelines.
Essential Functions:
- Traveling to the sites and performing the functions entailed in the audit process.
- Ability to observe, analyze and assess onsite conditions against the required standards.
- Issuing and following up on Corrective Action Plans.
- Post Audit Process (inputting audit results into Oakland Data Information Network (ODIN), uploading audits into Michigan Group Collaboration site, populating Smartsheet with Corrective Action Plan information for internal audit reference).
- Ability to use independent judgement and discretion when providing recommendations on changes needed for site review standards and content.
- Ability to provide leadership with changes needed to site review processes and expressing concerns on provider performance noted during site reviews.
- Bachelor's degree in human services field.
- Working knowledge of the state Mental Health Code, Mental Health System, and state licensing regulations for residential settings.
- Knowledge of Home and Community Based Services guidelines, how it applies to our various contracted sites and how to ensure the sites are following those guidelines.
- Good inter-personal communication skills.
- Proficiency with e-mail communication.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite.

- Must have available means of transportation to and from OCHN and for required offsite meetings or site visits.
- Must be available for meetings and events which may occur outside of standard office hours.
