Principal Functions:

Audit Project and Development Manager assists groups of auditors (initially named as POD) in the execution of their functions within a fast-track development program, assesses performance, and manages the assignment of workloads to the POD.

Essentials Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manages and develops staff in a highly interactive team environment.
• Monitors the work performed by POD members and ensures standard auditing practices are followed.
• Provides feedback of POD members development.
• Provides technical leadership to the POD members on best audit practices as well as Firm policies and standards.
• Manages and assigns workloads to the members of the POD.
• Keeps in constant communication with the staffing team to maintain a proper workload on the POD.
• Provides feedback on areas of improvement over the PODS design.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in accounting.
• Over four years of progressive audit experience in public accounting or equivalent.
• Experience in a small-to medium sized public accounting firm or a Big-4 firm.
• Excellent analytical and technical skills.
• Strong experience in engagement management, emphasizing excellence in staff management.
• Strong leadership, training, coaching, presentation and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent writing (both English and Spanish), and interpersonal skills.
