About the Team

We’re responsible for delivering a superior site experience for the customer by using data and customer insights to deliver easy, inspiring product discovery and helpful, intuitive, content-rich product pages.

About the Role

This position is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing the online merchandising and marketing programs for our website. They will propose and implement merchandising strategies online, manage product ranking, hierarchies, and seasonal product launches.

Responsibilities

  • Drive site optimization activities in collaboration with Manager and Merch Analyst
  • Maintain DTC Assortment line list
  • Provide assortment insights/recommendations and manage site execution for launch strategy
  • Work with merchant team on pricing related activities and ensure price accuracy on-site including Promotions, Markdowns, MSRP
  • Attend Monthly Site Marketing Meetings
  • Maintain daily promotional assortment strategy to adhere to all promotional requirements, qualifiers, and exceptions
  • Provide Promotional % messaging to adhere to pricing laws
  • Own daily calendar invites and documents for site flips
  • Own Group to Category and PIP Ranking
  • Partner with merch analyst to ensure DTC assortment is maintained daily against inventory availability to provide the best customer experience and inventory readiness
  • Weekly insights on top product demand reports highlighting assortment opportunities for the merchant team
  • Verify email links
  • Weekly recaps on SKUs/assortment performance DTC/Retail
  • Support all site management, merchandising and marketing activities

Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 2-4 years in retail e-commerce
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing online initiatives
  • Strong understanding of internet-based consumer behavior and direct marketing principles
  • Ability to make timely decisions, anticipate problems and provide creative solutions
  • Proven analytical and business planning skills
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to think objectively, use data to make decisions
  • Able to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad group of business partners
  • Excellent written, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrate strong business ownership, works well independently and self-motivated
  • Highly literate in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, plus strong communication skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills (working knowledge with pivot tables and v-lookups)
  • Ability to perform work onsite in the San Francisco office pending state, local, and Company return-to-work guidance during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

The expected starting pay range for this position is $75,000 –$ 85,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
