Clayton Youth Enrichment is currently recruiting for an Associate Director of Summer and Enrichment Services.
Clayton Youth Enrichment is Tarrant County's largest, on-site, youth enrichment provider. The non-profit agency serves 7,000+ children and families annually through its after-school and other out-of-school time enrichment programs.

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Associate Director of Summer and Enrichment Services provides development, leadership, and management of experiential education opportunities for all enrichment, seasonal (summer and holiday programs), groups, and teams of all kinds through innovative curriculum and quality programming. The AD also nurtures partnerships and relationships to customize each program to meet the specific needs of the individual school or group and its community.

RESPONSIBILITIES*

  • Ensure the overall success of all seasonal camp programs at existing and new partner sites.
  • Build enrichment plans and resources for internal use by staff at existing after-school programs.
  • Supervise and manage hiring, staffing, and scheduling.
  • Lead team to develop weekly and activity schedules.
  • Ensure that activities are aligned with the mission, vision, values, and goals of Clayton Youth Enrichment as an agency.
  • Manage facility rentals and property management for existing and new locations.
  • Organize and monitor programs regularly to ensure consistent delivery and quality.
  • Develop and implement training programs and materials for all staff with our training team.
  • Manage all risk, health, and safety as it applies to programs and staff to student/campers interactions.
  • Plan marketing strategy to ensure maximum enrollment for programs working with our marketing team.
  • Correspond with students and campers parents/guardians, keeping them informed of program activities
  • Oversee all tracking and reporting to satisfy grants or contacts outcomes and billing activities.
  • Supervise and direct onsite staff to lead classes and groups throughout their daily activities.
  • Establish communication plans and create and nurture positive relationships with districts, agencies, stakeholders, parents, staff and students.
  • Ensure the overall success of all enrichment programs at existing and new partner sites.
  • Work to secure and maintain RFPs and contracts to provide quality services throughout North Texas.
  • Create and manage budgets as well as set fees, discounts, and promotions.
  • Create and share the budget for marketing, purchasing and equipment, and field trips for Camp programs.
  • Conduct and manage weekly meetings with direct reports and overall teams.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with Program Management Team
  • Evaluate and assess programs on an ongoing continual basis and make adjustments as needed.
  • Evaluate and provide feedback for all program leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to perform all job requirements satisfactorily and meet the Social and Emotional Skills, Education/Experience, Personal Skills/Characteristics, Reasoning Ability, Physical Conditions, Work Environment, and Environmental Conditions listed below.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Excellent training and facilitation skills
  • Ability to design materials and use technology to collect and report data.
  • Proficiency in LMS Systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Office products.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Bachelor’s Degree in recreation, education, or a related field required.
  • 3-5 years of developing and leading out-of-school time and summer programs
  • Experience with program evaluation and data management required.
  • Multi-site and department management experience required.
  • Associate Director or Director level experience, or equivalent, preferred.
  • Experience with social and emotional learning, mindfulness, and soft skills.
  • Experience developing, designing, and delivering programs and working with diverse curriculums

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Ability to work odd schedules, evenings, and weekends when necessary (flexibility is important).
  • Travel in and around North Texas is required.

  • Sign on Bonus of $1,000

Pay: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
