Job Summary:
Provide leadership and support for College-wide initiatives housed within the RHCHP Office of the Academic Dean. Manages centralized logistics and advances systems/models to further develop, implement, support, and sustain diversity, equity, and inclusivity (DEI) initiatives, interprofessional education (IPE), and strategic planning within the College. Spearheads special projects at the College-level and for the RHCHP Academic Dean.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead College initiatives, including but not limited to, DEI, IPE, and strategic planning on behalf of the RHCHP Academic Dean.
  • Develop, implement, and manage centralized logistics and systems/models for advancing DEI initiatives and interprofessional education within RHCHP.
  • Teach in interprofessional courses/activities/events in RHCHP. Teach up to six credit hours per academic year of relevant undergraduate and/or graduate coursework or the equivalent in unique IPE courses/activities/events.
  • Oversee the operations of the simulation lab, including supervision of the director and manager of the simulation lab.
  • Lead the Rueckert-Hartman College for Healthcare Professions in an direction of ingenuity and excellence in IPE and DEI initiatives. Establish new partnerships, curriculum and activities that address and elevate student learning outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and support for the Office of the Academic Dean, by engaging with key College level committees with strategic goals in the area of interprofessional education, diversity, clinical coordination, research and scholarship.
  • Oversee program evaluation and assist with the development of new academic programs and services in the College.
  • Promote collaboration of University-related initiatives, including activities between the other two colleges and key offices such as Mission, Student Affairs, and Diversity.
  • Represent RHCHP on University-wide committees such as the Registration Status Appeals Committee and others as needed.
  • Models the expectations of faculty in teaching, scholarship, service, professional development, and practice.
  • Uphold the mission of the College and University.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Academic Dean of the Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have an earned doctorate from an accredited institution.
  • Must be an experienced educator of health professionals with high-level organizational and analytical skills.
  • Must have a firm grasp on current IPE and DEI training in graduate education
  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals and work together toward training students to improve patient and systems-based outcomes
  • Must demonstrate experience measuring learning outcomes
  • Must have knowledge IPE and DEI specific accreditation standards in all RHCHP academic units
  • Must have clinical experience in an interprofessional healthcare setting and knowledge of integrated care models
  • Must have demonstrated experience and understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusivity strategies, interprofessional education and practice, and strategic planning.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to work in a team, maintain confidentiality, and be a productive team member.
  • Highly developed communication and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Has experience and qualifications equivalent to the rank of Associate Professor or Professor.

Pay Rate:
$110,000 to $115,000 / annually commensurate with qualifications
