Aon is looking for a National Property Associate Broker
Work Style: Hybrid - in office 2-3 days a week as needed.
Your Impact as A National Property Associate Broker
Job Responsibilities:
- Accountable for routine support activities to brokers and senior brokers with defined deadlines, related to renewal strategy documents, proposals, submissions along with data analysis for the placement of insurance solutions.
- Gain & display coverage competency, knowledge of markets and relationships
- Effectively plan and manage renewal cycle
- Learn and master placement support systems
- May facilitate and/or participate in client/broker strategy meetings.
- Develop ability to broke less complex accounts
- May send requests for quotations to the insurance carriers with opportunities to negotiation programs.
- Manages daily work within established guidelines and receives general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
- Assists with the processing of policy and related documents
- Provides support to the account management process, when appropriate
- With minimal mentorship and supervision, identifies and analyzes client exposures and determines which markets to utilize, ensuring thorough evaluation of qualified companies in the marketplace.
You Bring Knowledge and Expertise
- Ability to prioritize workload and timelines efficiently and effectively
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
- Thorough knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance marketplace including products and services
- You do not need to have an insurance license, you just need to be able to obtain the insurance license in first 6 months
- Then maintains a valid Property/Casualty License
- Ability to work independently
- Must be detail-oriented
- Capable of balancing multiple projects/deadlines
- Possesses sophisticated analytical, technical and problem-solving skills and abilities
Education:
- Bachelor Degree is required

The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $72,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Chicago. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
