Assistant Shop Manager- Bentonville

The Assistant Shop Manager is responsible for assisting the General Shop Manager with overseeing an individual shop location, including driving sales, exhibiting exceptional customer service and supervising a sales team. The Assistant Shop Manager is a key member of Moosejaw’s management team and plays a critical role in the execution of Moosejaw’s exciting retail strategy.

Summary: An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.

Essential Functions
An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • Opening and closing the shop.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service consistently.
  • Driving sales and delivering results.
  • Assisting the Shop Manager with shop payroll, profit and loss.
  • Merchandising effectively and within given directives.
  • Creating a clean and organized work environment, as well as maintaining the Madness and helping shop associates embrace the Moosejaw culture.
  • Ensuring that training and staff development are ongoing.
  • Supervising shop associates, including managing the staff schedule within a specified budget, training associates, responding to associates with feedback and monitoring their progress.
  • Enforcing all company and department policies and procedures.
  • Keeping the shop team and Shop Manager informed on all necessary matters.

Ensures Associates demonstrate the highest standards of integrity and ethics in work situations.   • Bachelor’s Degree
