It’s an exciting time in pet food! Post Holdings, Inc. recently announced an agreement to buy several pet food brands from The J.M. Smucker Co. The transaction is anticipated to close early in the second calendar quarter of 2023. Upon closing of the acquisition, Post expects to create a new pet food platform within Post Consumer Brands. This role is part of the team of 1,000 employees who will soon join the Post family to focus on and grow these iconic pet brands.

Location Description:
Post Consumer Brands corporate headquarters in Lakeville, Minn. is about 20 miles south of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Lakeville has all the benefits of smaller town living with access to everything a large metropolitan area has to offer. Responsibilities:

POSITION SUMMARY

Assoc. Manager BI will work with various Away from Home teams and information systems to address many complex business problems. Collaborate with both external and internal partners to prepare statistical analysis, manage data needed for various systems, develop interactive reports, update statistical models, and ad hoc analytical tasks needed to support the business. This position will work with development teams, project managers and other internal/external parties as needed to help facilitate the successful completion of company initiatives.


This role is based in Minneapolis with 40-50% travel to Ohio during the first year.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Master Data Governance/Maintenance

  • Manage Annual Product and Customer Restatements
  • Work with cross functional teams to maintain and update product and customer data across multiple systems.

Document Processes and Develop Standard Operating Procedures

  • Maintain and Create Documentation on Processes as Needed
  • Assist cross-functional teams in the development of standard operating procedures

Maintenance of business systems by providing admin support

  • User Access Review Audits
  • Administrator User Maintenance for Trade and Analytics Systems

Assist with system training for Away From Home Organization and external partners

  • Maintain and Create Training Documentation
  • Train users on Dashboards

Gather requirements and develop interactive reports

  • Gather Business Requirements
  • Work with cross functional teams to build and deploy dashboards

Manage SBA BI Projects and Initiatives

  • Manage Departmental Projects
  • Help with managing Business Area Initiatives
Qualifications:

SELECTION CRITERIA

Education

Required

  • Bachelor's degree required

Desired

  • Preferred degree in IT, IS, or business equivalent. SQL, Spark, Python

Experience

Required

  • Project Management
  • Self-motivated and can manage and prioritize multiple/diverse tasks
  • Ability to build strong relationships with sales, marketing, finance, category management
  • Strong Systems Skills
  • Experience with BI tools such AWS QuickSight, Tableau, Spotfire, Power BI or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of relational data
