GHP is seeking a fulltime Assistant Machine Mechanic to help with maintenance and repair of commercial printing and bindery equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and reliability of machines and mechanical systems. Candidate should be able to work with various machines and tools while following all safety precautions. Experience in the printing industry a plus.

Responsibilities:

· Inspect machines and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues

· Conduct repairs for maximum reliability

· Report problems and resolve in timely manner

· Perform maintenance on machinery and equipment

· Clean and apply lubricants to machinery

· Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery

· Provide consultation and preventative measures to machine users

· Undertake other duties as assigned such as moving equipment or painting

· Maintain work logs of all work performed on machines or equipment

Requirements and skills:

· Proven experience of at least 3 years as Mechanic

· Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical and other systems and their components

· Aptitude in using various hand tools such as screwdrivers and also precision measurement tools such as calipers

· Ability to read and follow established policies and procedures and be able to read instructions

· Must have very good communications skills

· Possess problem-solving ability with very good physical strength and stamina

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
