Montauk Bus is a rapidly growing transportation company working out of four Suffolk County locations. (Center Moriches, Eastport, Hampton Bays and Yaphank) We operate a fleet of the newest, safest buses, vans and motor coaches, we follow all health & safety protocols for our passengers and our drivers, and we promote a respectful and supportive working environment.

We are looking for a reliable Assistant Dispatcher to act as a communication point as well as handle office administration tasks.

Minimum Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Prior customer service experience is preferred
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to bend, stand and walk/run for up to duration of entire work shift
Tasks Included in Assistant Dispatcher Role:
- Coordinates or arranges for vehicles, drivers and driver assistants to properly follow bus schedules.
- Schedule, assign, or coordinate drivers for special transportation such as field trips, athletic events, etc.
- Assists in planning bus loads, stops, routes, and schedules.
- Coordinate and implement bus schedules.
- Assist in dispatching buses to assigned bus pick-up points.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, parents, and school staff members.
- Must be flexible to work non-regular hours and assist in inclement weather or other related emergencies.
