POSITION SUMMARY: - Assists with the planning, organization, development, coordination and direction of the Nursing Department in its Programs and activities in accordance with current Federal, State and Local guidelines and regulations, accepted standards of practice and as may be directed by Administration and/or Director of Nursing.

REPORTS TO:

§ Director of Nursing

JOB FUNCTIONS:

QUALIFICATIONS:

§ Registered Nurse with a current NYS license.

§ Nursing degree from an accredited college or university. Graduation from an approved school of Nursing and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

§ Previous experience in a long term care or subacute facility.

§ Prior Nursing administrative/supervisory experience in a long-term setting.

§ Knowledge of MDS and care planning.

§ Knowledge of regulatory requirements governing long term care facilities.

§ IV certification a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
