Kidzland in Little Chute is looking for a compassionate, patient individual to join our team as an Assistant Teacher in our Two-Year-Old Room. We are seeking candidates who are nurturing, energetic, and open to working with children in a variety of settings to provide guidance and support in the classroom, as well as assist in leading classroom activities. We are also open to hiring a second Lead Teacher for this room to serve as a Co-Lead position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Meeting the WI State Licensing Requirements for Assistant Child Care Worker within 6 months of hire as well as meeting yearly continuing education requirements
- Assisting the Lead Teacher in implementing lesson plans and maintaining a positive classroom environment that aligns with YoungStar
- Must be willing and able to be flexible and calm in a fast-paced, energetic classroom.
- Must be willing and able to communicate effectively with children and their grownups to ensure a smooth transition in care between home and Kidzland.
- Must be willing and able to lift up to 50lbs, stand for long periods of time, be comfortable sitting on the floor, and be able to bend, twist, and lift
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
