RESPONSIBILITIES
: The Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities, Events and Operations will serve as the primary coordinator for all non-athletic events and operations for the athletic department as well as oversight of facilities and events manager, student staff and game management in First Bank & Trust Arena and Stanley J. Marshall Center.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree by application date;
- Minimum one year of experience in athletics, game management and/or event coordination;
- Experience with managing personnel;
- Experience with facility maintenance;
- Effective communication (oral, written and interpersonal) skills;
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills;
- Demonstrated computer application skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Master’s degree in sports management or related field;
- Administrative and operations experience in collegiate setting;
- Experience with rental/community events on campus facilities;
- Experience organizing large events;
- Experience with supervising personnel.
