RESPONSIBILITIES : The Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities, Events and Operations will serve as the primary coordinator for all non-athletic events and operations for the athletic department as well as oversight of facilities and events manager, student staff and game management in First Bank & Trust Arena and Stanley J. Marshall Center.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
  • Bachelor’s degree by application date;
  • Minimum one year of experience in athletics, game management and/or event coordination;
  • Experience with managing personnel;
  • Experience with facility maintenance;
  • Effective communication (oral, written and interpersonal) skills;
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills;
  • Demonstrated computer application skills.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
  • Master’s degree in sports management or related field;
  • Administrative and operations experience in collegiate setting;
  • Experience with rental/community events on campus facilities;
  • Experience organizing large events;
  • Experience with supervising personnel.
