The responsibility of the Loss Prevention Manager will begin based out of 57th Street store

The role will have a major focus on training and instilling a safety/security culture in store/s (we really see opportunity for improvement here in order to have stronger security operations). Training of all Team Members and security staff will drive alignment and consistency through a service first approach. Training will occur on the Store Team and Guard Vendor levels and will influence training material outside of the market.

Education/Training/Awareness achieved through –

• Management of Store level training of Security Guards in stores
• Support in store trainings of new store employees
• Increase safety information retention through constant communication in stores with employees and other communication methods; ‘What to do if’
• Contribute to market alerts designed to inform store teams of theft/fraud trends occurring in the market

Technology and Security Asset Management through –

• Managing Security guard services in Market, including scheduling all requests and expectations/quality
• Utilization of camera systems in store and remotely
• Maintaining Burglar Alarm systems to ensure they are functioning are updated
• Ensuring CCTV systems are functioning properly and teams are properly trained in using them
• Cabling materials are supplied to stores as needed and installed properly
• Completing remote security audits through CCTV remote access

Shrink Reduction achieved through –

• Investigations to identify/reduce/eliminate internal and external theft via CCTV systems, POS reporting and other investigative methods
• Identify specific market inventory risk through analysis and develop tangible action plans
• Drive compliance in Security Standards, ie cabling handbags and furs, etc.
• Liaise with Retail Operations on inventory movement to identify paperwork discrepancies as a result of missing controls at store level
