Barricks Manufacturing in Rainbow City, AL is seeking entry level and experienced Machine Operators, Assemblers, and Utility Operators to start immediately on 1st shift. These positions are full time, permanent, direct hire positions with the company. Barricks Manufacturing is a leading manufacturer of business, hospitality, and long term care furniture. We are locally owned and have been in operation since 1953.

Also, as a company, management recognizes family and work issues of individuals. Consequently, overtime work is kept to a minimum if any at all and Barricks operates only one shift in support of this.

Positions: Machine Operators / Assemblers / Utility Operators

Barricks Mfg is recruiting both entry level and experienced individuals for these positions.

Openings are being filled on a direct hire basis by the company and are full time, permanent positions.

Schedule:

-1st Shift: Barricks operates only one shift

-Monday thru Friday – 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Qualification:

-Machine Operators - willingness and ability to learn and operate CNC Machine.

-Ability to work as a Team Member and communicate.

-Positive attitude.

-Experience reading a tape measure is a plus.

-Some positions require ability to operate power tools or use a computer.

Physical aspects of position:
-Transport parts by hand.

-Ability to distinguish and identify colors.

-All operations are performed in a standing position.

-Lifting parts or pushing material carts.

Benefits:

-Starting pay range $12.00 to $14.00 depending on experience with performance review after 90 days.

-Pay increases based on performance, ability, and attitude.

-Blue Cross Blue Shield Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance is available after a short waiting period. Eligible first of month following 30 days of service

-Holiday pay

-Paid vacation is available after 90 days of service; 8 days for balance of first year; 10 days awarded at 1st year anniversary; 15 days at 3 year anniversary.
