Volt is immediately hiring a Machine Assembler in San Diego, CA.

As a Machine Assembler you will:

• Install mechanical components on gas turbines
• Layout, fabricate and perform assembly of engines and motors
• Install hydraulic tubing
• Route cables and wires and perform electrical terminations
• Follow blueprints and drawings
• Utilize hand tools such as wrenches and torques

We are hiring for both 1st (6am – 2:30pm) and 2nd shift (2:30pm – 11pm).
This position is 15 months temp with strong potential to go temp to hire at any time after you start. The company offers job stability, growth opportunities and a fun/employee friendly environment. This company builds careers!
The ideal candidate will have:

• Mechanical assembly experience – layout, install, wiring, cable – anyone who has worked with wrenches
• Experience working on engines ( turbine or auto or aircraft or HVAC )
• Auto mechanic or aviation / aircraft / shipyard or military experience ideal
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings
• Experience using hand tools

Pay Rate: $23-27/hr.
** Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
