**$5000 Sign On Bonus Offered**
The Arrhythmia Tech position applies, processes, scans and schedules Holters and other cardiac monitors; provides patient education, including EKGs. The position performs data entry of new and existing device patients. Additionally, trains (with a preceptor) to progress towards independence and Arrhythmia Tech II clinician level.

Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities
- Schedules and performs EKG’s, cardiac and Holter monitors, patient hook-ups and report generation.
- Communicate with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical conditions, and inform physician/provider of significant patient complaints and/or arrhythmia.
- Prepare and monitor report results for interpretation by physician/provider.
- Tracks information on patient charts as needed. Documents in progress notes for patient communication.
- Escalate issues to manager or physician/provider.
- Assures correct charges and diagnosis are marked appropriately for billing.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by management or physician/provider.
Qualifications

- High School Diploma
- Basic Life Support (BLS) with American Heart Association
- Must possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
- Ability to effectively communicate to staff and patients
- Demonstrate sound judgement and composure with the ability to take appropriate action in questionable or emergency situations
- Acts as a liaison between patients and professional staff
- May require Local Travel
- Graduate from one of the following healthcare educational programs: Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, Emergency Medical Technician, or Bachelor or Associate degree in biology, human physiology, healthcare or equivalent preferred.
- Knowledge of medical skills and terminology preferred.
- Basic knowledge EKGs and/or stress testing preferred.
- 1 year cardiovascular/arrhythmia experience preferred.
Pay Range
$15.49 - $21.30 /hour
