Position Summary
The primary purpose of this role is primary oversight and governance or SME level knowledge for IT supported applications that impact the Financial operations teams. Includes in depth understanding of the business processes end to end as well as working understanding of application processes, tables and interfaces and integrations. This role will provide business support for one or more applications relating to Accounts Receivable, Account Payable, General Accounting, Store Sales, and other key 3 rd party applications that impact the Financial operations teams.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Support business partners in projects that impact systems leveraged or that impact Finance Operations teams.
Understand end to end business processes and act as an SME for changes that impact supported applications or business partners.
Cross-train with peers across application portfolio
Prepare and review reports provided to management for use in making key decisions. Performs complex data management analyze and distribute requested financial data to customers in clear, concise format. Identifies and works to help resolve issues as they arise.
Design, develop and implement process improvement to maximize the efficiency of the department this requires thorough knowledge of systems to meet specialized needs.
Support internal and external audit process activities related to area of responsibility to assure the auditors receive necessary data, documentation, and explanations.
Responsible to safeguard and protect company assets ensuring compliance with Company policies and federal, state, and local jurisdictions requirements/laws.
Provide support to various special projects.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree. Accounting degree preferred.
Experience in one or more Finance Operations Disciplines
Ability to work across multiple application and support teams.
Strong communication skills
5-8 years of high-volume Finance Operations or Accounting experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is preferred
