Primary responsibilities include, negotiating and building orders: Inbound Diverting, Investment Buys, Forward BuysDeals Expiring & MLP Changes, cost savings, revenue generation, and revenue for possible third-party sales. This role also has direct responsibility to achieving revenue generating opportunities. This role has direct responsibility for ensuring inventory quantities are meeting established Alternative Sourcing Guidelines while maximize margins for our Banner partners.

Essential job responsibilities:

• Inbound - Negotiate and Analyze cost savings opportunities that drives margin $
• Third Party Sales – Negotiate to reduce write off and impact.
• Manage cost, inventory and CAP costs to develop product purchase orders that achieve guidelines
• Monitor and ensure timely execution of all planned product orders as needed.
• Work with Replenishment group to develop a plan to address left over excess inventory.
• Analyze vendor delivery on-time and fill rate performance opportunities. Improve performance by working with the vendor.
• Evaluate and execute forward buys and other price protection efforts.
• Stay informed on commodity or other supplier issues that impact category sales. Anticipate and act on supplier issues, seasonal changes, natural disasters, crop conditions, and manufacturing issues ensuring efficient order quantities.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with internal (Category, Brand, Distribution Centers, Logistics, Trucking, Retail) and external (vendors) customers.
• Provide timely communication to necessary parties related to inventory transactions, resolving issues, and responding to questions via phone, email, and online applications.
• Determine root cause of supply continuity issues and lead efforts for resolution.
• Assist issues resulting in non-movement of inventory and discontinued items as needed
• Work with Replenishment group to develop a plan to address left over excess inventory.
• Own filling and population department budget • Owns all creating and maintaining of reporting
• Act as point of contact for team; training, mentoring, and coaching of Analyst II’s

Knowledge:

• Solid understanding of Category and Supply Chain processes and terminology with clear understanding how it can impact ADUSA.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
• Basic professional level of knowledge for company, business and industry practices
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of Programs

Experience:

• Replenishment / Forecasting Exposure
• Category Managemen
• Warehouse Management
• 3-5 years’ experience within retail, merchandising, category, pricing, logistics, supply chain, procurement, and distribution
• Power BI, Alteryx, Data Mining
