Summary: Entry Level Technician Position - Responsible for performing skilled tasks in the service, maintenance, and repair of airplane wheels and braking systems, by performing the following duties:

Technician Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Deflate tires. *
  • Responsible for breaking torque and bead of tires. *
  • Removes bearings and related hardware including bolts, washers, and nuts. *
  • Cleans hardware and wheels in an aqueous or solvent based machine. *
  • Removes paint occasionally with a dry system such as bead blast. *
  • Operates heavy-duty hydraulic jacks and other equipment to perform wheel maintenance functions. *
  • Assists other departments when necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Language Ability:

  • Ability to work cooperatively within timelines provided and meet production requirements assigned

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
