Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting US is looking for a passionate, motivated, and skilled agile coach to join our agile transformation team. As a founding member of this team, the agile coach will serve in as a critical voice in establishing a transformation direction, strategy, and roadmap. The agile coach is an important role to help identify key measures of organizational and team agility and help influence positive change to improve business outcomes.
The agile coach seeks to educate, coach, and mentor engineering, product management, and leadership staff on agile patterns and practices customized and curated to address the teams’ objectives. The agile coach will help develop team behaviors that encourage self-sufficiency, alignment of business priorities, cross-team dependency management, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Our agile coaches are experts in Scrum and various Agile frameworks including Scaled Agile Framework, and coach teams on how to adapt suitable aspect of these frameworks to maximize business outcomes. Our agile coaches must be comfortable working at all levels of the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Help identify organizational impediments and work with the leadership team to create effective strategies to overcome them.

Assist with development of strategic agile transformation roadmap spanning multiple teams and products.

Educate, coach, and mentor, teams and leaders at different levels (including senior and middle management) to help improve organizational outcomes thru the application and adaptation of agile frameworks to our business needs.

Facilitate, teach, and/or mentor conflict resolution discussions and alternative approaches to achieve desired business outcomes.

To drive transparency and trust, identify and measure KPIs that assess organizational agility relative to business performance and use those metrics to help drive improvements.

Create and deliver agile training and workshops to teams, stakeholders, and leadership on an ongoing and as-needed basis.

Partner with other Agile Coaches and Scrum Masters across the organization to align on driving the intended agile transformation outcomes.
Experience:
-
8+ years of experience working in software development companies using Agile methodologies in one or multiple of the following roles: Agile Coach/SPC, Release/Solution Train Engineer, or Scrum Master.

2+ years of experience as an agile coach over multiple teams in a software development organization.

Experience working with software platform teams is a must, e.g., where there is a centralized platform organization that multiple application teams leverage.

Experience working with non-SRE and SRE models is a must, e.g., both classic managed services operational paradigms and DevOps-centric paradigms.

Have hands-on experience utilizing Scaled Agile Framework ® and Scrum in software development organizations

Expert in agile values, principles, and practices and lean ways of working.

Have demonstrated experience transitioning software teams to an agile framework and/or improving organizational outcomes thru application and adapting agile frameworks to organizations.

Have excellent presentation, facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills, including coaching and mentoring

Experience influencing peers and stakeholders and leading change.

Ideal to have

SAFe Release Train Engineer, SAFe Program Consultant, or higher-level SAFe certification(s)
