Old Republic Surety Company (ORSC) is currently seeking an Agency Services Manager to join its Agency Services Team at its Home Office in Brookfield, WI . In general, the Agency Services Manager is responsible for internal and external communication and customer service regarding use and maintenance of the electronic bond purchasing systems. This position directly supervises department supervisors and oversees the workflow of the Agency Services Department.

Essential duties for the role are as follows:

• Supervise direct reports, make recommendations for performance management and disciplinary action. Train subordinates to achieve goals. In addition, contribute to the new employee selection process.
• Direct all areas of the Agency Services Department; ensuring timely processing of endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements.
• Generate reports for the use of daily balancing in compliance with internal audit controls and requirements complying with a number of Sarbanes Oxley Section 404 controls.
• Test and implement BONDSTAR transactions and upgrades in pre-production and production.
• Ensure proper customer service support is being provided via phone and email on system issues from internal and external users.
• Collaborate and work alongside the BONDSTAR Support Manager and other departments with implementing newly filed rates and forms.
• Backup to the BONDSTAR Support Manager, including working with internal and external personnel who support the electronic bond purchasing system.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position requires a high school diploma with at least five years of prior related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Working as an Agency Services Manager requires one to work independently and effectively within a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products is necessary. Other skills necessary include excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational and accurate proofreading skills, the ability to maintain accurate records, the ability to exercise discretion with confidential information, strong attention to detail, and the ability to use a variety of office equipment.

This position requires demonstrated superior supervisory and/or project management skills. This position requires one to lead change and inspire innovation. In addition, this position requires the use of strong interpersonal skills to effectively motivate others.
