Aerospace Quality Technician
Location: Arvada, CO

Your Role
SAS FF’s manufacturing team is critical to executing our missions. As an Aerospace Quality Technician, you will play a critical role and significantly impact the company and industry.

The annual salary for this role is $45,000 to $65,000 . Compensation depends on the candidate’s work experience, education/training, and related skills.

Your Role
SAS FF’s manufacturing team is critical to executing our missions. As an Aerospace Quality Technician, you will play a critical role and significantly impact the company and industry.
Your role will include:
- Working as part of the Quality Department team to support quality inspection and compliance across production processes
- Performing quality inspection, applying quality inspection techniques, and identifying nonconforming hardware.
- Materials handling, receiving, packaging, and shipping
- Ensuring quality document management, quality control, and compliance with requirements and procedures.
- Working effectively with cross-functional groups - Engineering, Program Management, and Customers with minimal assistance.
- Handling, understanding, and applying detailed work instructions and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, sketches, specifications, and standards.

- High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associates degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks
- Must have mechanical inspection capabilities
- Knowledge and proficiency in machined and composite part measuring skills
- The ability to read prints and use hand tools (calipers, mics, etc.) with proficiency
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, and the use of computer resources to access specifications, engineering drawings, etc.
- Experience with new product introductions, lean manufacturing, cost, and quality optimization on the production floor is highly desired
- Quality Assurance inspection background preferred
- Familiarity with AS9100 standards
