Job Description:

**Risk Management and Safety experience highly desired

Hours: Mon - Fri, Day shift

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Director of Quality & Infection Prevention contributes to the organization's risk management, safety and quality initiatives. Works with the Director, leaders, the medical staff and stakeholders, to develop and implement processes focused on the improvement of patient outcomes and healthcare delivery. Subject matter expert for risk management and patient safety processes. Collaborates with others to resolved issues related to patient care, communication, policies and resources

Job Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years current work experience in an acute care setting.

IL RN License or can obtain licensure by time of hire required

Prior experience in risk management, safety and/or quality

Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Master's preferred

Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred

Certified Professional healthcare Risk Management preferred.

Process Improvement, Six Sigma or Lean certification preferred.
