English as a Second Language instructor positions for day and evening programs in Clarkston (DeKalb County) and Conyers (Rockdale County), Georgia.
- Enrolls, instructs, and supervises students with limited English proficiency in English as a Second Language (ESL) multi-level class;
- Develops program and course outlines adhering to the Technical College System of Georgia Curriculum framework;
- Evaluates student progress in attaining goals and objectives;
- Develops teaching methods and maintains classroom management procedures and documentation;
- Assists with recruitment and retention;
- Ensures safety and security requirements are met;
- Attends in-service training, workshops, seminars and conferences;
- Oversees classroom volunteers.
